Job description

LOCATION: Annapolis Junction, MD | Monday thru Friday

Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must have skills needed to install, configure, and support the following:

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/IA access controls (all supported locations).

Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.

Create system diagrams and present high-level presentations to management.

EXPERIENCE

Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, lnfiniband, Juniper, Fiber Channel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC).

Expert level support to include physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco-based).

Experienced in system level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.

Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design.

Experienced in packet capture software.

Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

10 years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 15 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.

REQUIREMENTS

Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

IAT Level II Certification Required.

Salary:

The likely salary range is up to $224K. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
