As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Atrium Physical Therapy in Alexandria, you will work onsite in a well-equipped rehabilitation facility that serves a diverse patient population. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with physical disabilities or injuries, using clinical reasoning to establish their functional capacity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include specific goals and interventions based on the latest evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapy interventions while continuously evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education on treatment processes and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, ongoing treatments, and discharge summaries, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team to optimize treatment strategies and patient care plans; participate in case reviews and staff meetings regularly.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives, aimed at raising awareness about physical therapy and promoting healthy lifestyles within the community.
• Supervise and manage the performance of support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they are effectively contributing to patient care.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
