Sundance Beverage Company is part of the National Beverage family of iconic brands.
Job Description
**2nd Shift Position
We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This position consists of testing and sampling all products and ensuring that we are producing a safe, great tasting, quality product that meets our specifications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate HACCP compliance.
- Oversee product sampling and analysis process.
- Participate in microbiological control program.
- Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications via product testing.
- Calculate adjustments to batches and alter batches to meet specs.
- Participate in quality and sanitation programs.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise three lab techs, product compounding, and pasteurization. This is a hands-on position requiring the learning, operating, and problem solving in these areas.
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate production output and quality.
- Assist in production supervision as needed.
- Facilitate regulatory compliance.
Job Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Food Science or other related science discipline
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
- Previous QC Experience
- Knowledge of GMP's, SSOP's and HAACP (HAACP Certification a plus)
- Experience in a food production facility a plus
- Must be available to work flexible hours
