Project Manager – Licensed Architect

 


Are you a licensed architect that leads projects, manages teams, and delivers design solutions?

This is a brand-new opportunity to take ownership of projects from early concept through construction, while working in a fun, collaborative, and flexible design environment.

Responsibilities:

 

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead projects through all phases: Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration
  • Establish and manage project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Ensure alignment with client goals, code requirements, and quality standards

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary client contact, building relationships
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and coordination
  • Manage expectations, risks, and project outcomes

Team Coordination

  • Direct and coordinate internal staff and external consultants
  • Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress, quality, and deadlines
  • Foster collaboration across disciplines

Technical Oversight

  • Ensure design and documentation meet building codes, regulations, and constructability standards
  • Oversee quality control and coordinate document reviews
  • Support problem-solving during design and construction

Requirements:

 

  • Licensed Architect (AIA)
  • 8+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in project delivery
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and consulting teams
  • Understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes
  • Communication, leadership, and client management skills
  • Ability to balance design vision with technical execution
  • Able to lead both clients and internal teams
  • Desire to mentor junior designers
