Job description

ABOUT THIS POSITION
Post-sale technical staff position in which predominant job responsibilities and requirements occur after the sale of the company's product to the client. Provides post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products. May be involved in implementing detailed customer installation requirements and / or customization. Ensures that client's needs have been met and that the product / solution is fully functioning according to specification. May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications. Report only those incumbents with incentives not tied to product sales. If on a sales incentive plan, match Applications / Systems Engineering - Post-Sales - Sales Plan. This is an individual contributor role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Execute initial software configurations and system setups based on client requirements and project specifications.
* Perform data import and migration activities using provided tools and adhering to established procedures.
* Conduct basic testing of implemented solutions to ensure functionality and data integrity.
* Provide first-level technical support to clients during the implementation period, troubleshooting minor issues and escalating complex problems.
* Assist in creating and maintaining implementation documentation and knowledge base articles.
* Collaborate with senior implementation specialists and project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
* Participate in client calls and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates on implementation progress.
* Continuously learn and stay updated on Waystar's product features and implementation best practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of software implementation methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Proficiency in using business software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in a customer-facing role or technical support is a plus.
