Position Overview: Work for one of the fastest growing companies in Central Oregon, building state-of-the-art commercial HVAC systems! We are currently hiring Entry-Level Assemblers to support our production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to start their career in manufacturing and gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment. Work on our fast-paced assembly line rotating between positions like assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping. Learn multiple trade skills and develop your career in manufacturing!
Responsibilities
  • Install and fit parts for heating / cooling and ventilation equipment.
  • Consult with manufacturers, designers, line leads and Supervisors.
  • Perform precision assembling.
  • Perform basic low-voltage electrical wiring.
  • Read and interpret engineering specifications from text and drawings.
  • Attach brackets, hinges, or clips to secure parts.
  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs.
  • Fit and fasten sheet metal coverings to surface areas.
  • Bolts, screws, or rivets accessories to fasten, support, or hang components and subassemblies.
  • Perform basic woodworking tasks. Includes cutting, nailing, and screwing various wood assemblies.
  • Perform basic pipefitting task and assemble piping components.
  • Doing joinery work that includes installing flashing and securing structural supports.
  • Preparing, configuring, and assembling the required tools, including ladders, measuring tapes, hammer drill machines, and straightedges
  • Complying with relevant regulatory practices related to construction projects and safety requirements
  • Carrying construction materials and metal stud frames from one place to another within the plant and assisting forklift operators with the transportation process
  • Operate power hand tools.

Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Position requires bending, stooping, crouching, and climbing.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Climb ladders and work from ladder
  • Work supported by harness and fall protection at heights up to 30 feet.

Work Environment
  • Fast paced production environment
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Eye protection and safety toe shoes are required; hearing protection is sometimes required.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Familiar with the use of various hand tools, tape measure, and power tools.
  • Reliable, punctual with a positive attitude, self-starter
