Description of Primary Duties
The primary duty of the ResNet Software Developer is to develop software to increase the quality of life of residents and staff of on-campus housing. Developers work as a team to resolve issues and implement features in new or existing applications. The Web Programmer Analyst assigns tasks and duties to the Software Developers as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Must have working knowledge of computer operation
• Familiarity with at least one procedural, object-oriented, or functional programming language (Python, PHP, C/C++, Java, Haskell, etc...)
• Ability to work on a team
• Experience with source control is preferred
• Willingness to learn is required
• Must meet Student Employee Handbook requirements
