Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our innovative team. This full-time, remote position offers an unparalleled opportunity to provide trauma-informed care to diverse clients, while enjoying a flexible work schedule, competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, and a sign-on bonus for new hires.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of a supportive and collaborative team. Our work facility operates as a community health clinic, which allows for consistent engagement with a motivated patient population. We offer extended hours, operating between 7 am and 10 pm, seven days a week, providing ample opportunities for flexible scheduling to meet both your needs and those of your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate therapeutic approaches.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through trauma processing, coping strategy development, and the healing journey.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide an integrated and coordinated care approach for each patient.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stability.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to aid their recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development events centered on trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the effectiveness of interventions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically targets a diverse patient population affected by trauma-related disorders, including individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with clients who are seeking support in overcoming the impact of their trauma and to build a safe and trusting therapeutic environment that facilitates healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited educational institution.
  • A valid and current LCPC license in the state of Illinois is required.
