• Conduct thorough assessments and individual therapy sessions tailored to the diverse needs of clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to guide sessions.
• Facilitate communication and conflict resolution workshops for couples, enhancing their relationship skills.
• Document client progress and treatment plans meticulously, maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.

As an LMFT at Desmond Couple Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will assist couples seeking to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their bond. You will also engage with families navigating complex dynamics, aiming to improve overall family functioning and emotional health.

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Oregon. Licenses such as LCSW or LPC will also be considered.
• A master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and provide thoughtful, evidence-based interventions.
• Comfort and proficiency in providing therapy both virtually and in person, adapting to the needs and preferences of clients.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting focused on individual, couples, and family therapy.
• Experience with a range of presenting issues, especially those affecting relationships and family dynamics.
• Previous involvement in community health initiatives or collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is a plus.

Desmond Couple Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
