Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' needs, challenges, and history.
- Formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual, couple, or family.
- Deliver evidence-based individual, couple, and family counseling services, helping clients develop coping strategies and achieve their therapeutic goals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in regular consultations with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
- Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and staying updated with current best practices in mental health counseling.
- Actively participate in team meetings to discuss case management, client feedback, and share insights to enhance clinic practices.
You will primarily serve individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. By offering compassionate support and tailored interventions, you will play a key role in helping clients reconnect with their strengths and improve their overall mental health.
Qualifications- A Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
- Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor in Oregon.
- Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet various client needs and preferences.
- A strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical practices.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Previous work in community health settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable.
- Ongoing professional development and training specific to mental health practices.
The compensation for this full-time Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually.
