The Royal Caribbean Group's E-commerce Data and Analytics Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Lead, Web Tag Operations reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Digital Implementation
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
This role ensures accurate, consistent, and strategically aligned data collection across Royal Caribbean Group's digital ecosystem by administering Tealium iQ and EventStream, maintaining the enterprise Data Layer, developing tags for marketing and product needs, and advising teams on data availability and usage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer Tealium iQ and EventStream, including environments, permissions, workflows, and tag governance. (Execute / Decide)
  • Develop, configure, and deploy new tags, pixels, and event mappings to support Web Product, Analytics, and Digital Media requirements. (Execute)
  • Maintain and enhance the RCG Data Layer, ensuring data accuracy, structure consistency, and readiness for downstream activation. (Execute / Decide)
  • Stay current on the Web Team's roadmap and proactively assess impacts to tagging, EventStream schema, and data collection. (Inform / Consult)
  • Stay aligned with the Media Team's campaign plans to ensure proper tracking, audience creation, attribution, and measurement readiness. (Consult)
  • Consult with stakeholders on what data is available within Tealium's Data Layer and advise how that data can best support analytics and media use cases. (Consult)
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into technical tagging specifications, ensuring feasibility and alignment with governance standards. (Consult / Execute)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve tagging issues, including debugging, verifying data flows, and validating events across devices and browsers. (Execute)
  • Document tagging implementations, data contracts, and schema updates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and long-term maintainability. (Execute / Inform)
  • Ensure tagging and data collection comply with privacy, consent, and platform governance requirements, escalating risks when necessary. (Decide / Inform)

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing enterprise tag management solutions, preferably Tealium iQ and Tealium EventStream.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, browser developer tools, and debugging techniques required for tag development and troubleshooting.
  • Experience maintaining and architecting Data Layers for large-scale websites, including defining schemas and managing data quality.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and marketing technologies, such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and digital media tagging (e.g., Meta, Google, Floodlights).
  • Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into technical specifications for tagging and data collection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to consult cross-functionally and support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of privacy, consent, and governance implications related to web data collection.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
