Position Summary

Laser Photonics Corporation is seeking a Junior Web Developer (WordPress/PHP) to join our team in Lake Mary, FL. This is an entry-level to early-career opportunity for a developer with 1–3 years of experience building and maintaining websites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website management. This role will focus primarily on maintaining and improving company websites, updating website functionality, troubleshooting issues, and supporting digital initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and business teams.

This position is not a software engineering role and is focused on website development, WordPress customization, and front-end web improvements.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and enhance company websites built on WordPress.
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
  • Create and modify website pages, layouts, and features using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Manage website content updates, formatting, and user experience improvements.
  • Troubleshoot website issues, broken functionality, and performance concerns.
  • Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Assist with website improvements, SEO updates, and performance optimization.
  • Support website integrations with existing tools and platforms.
  • Perform website testing and quality checks before updates are published.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams on website projects.
  • Follow website security, coding, and maintenance best practices.


Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience specifically in website development.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress website development and administration.
  • Experience working with:
