Key Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or license (national and/or South Carolina)
  • Proven expertise in behavioral and trauma-informed counseling
  • Experience with psychoeducational and behavioral evaluation
  • Familiarity with FBAs, BIPs, and MTSS
  • Strong consultation and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling for students with intensive needs
  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments and support Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Champion trauma-informed, data-driven interventions within the district’s Promising Students Program
  • Consult with teachers, families, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Help develop and monitor transition plans and crisis response strategies
