Introduction
Our client is a specialty and emergency hospital that is hiring for a full-time Veterinary Internist. The hospital sees cats and dogs and operates within a collaborative, 24/7 emergency and specialty environment where innovation, teamwork, and patient care come first. Established for more than 35 years, this nationally respected specialty and emergency hospital offers the full spectrum of advanced veterinary specialty services within a progressive referral setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Veterinary Internist responsibilities within a busy specialty and emergency hospital environment. The successful candidate will manage complex internal medicine cases while collaborating closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive patient care and exceptional clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, case management, client communication, and working alongside emergency and specialty teams within a highly collaborative referral setting. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is board-certified or residency-trained and is passionate about delivering high-level specialty medicine within a progressive and team-oriented environment.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supporting a diverse specialty and emergency caseload. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, MRI, CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscope technology, and an in-house diagnostic laboratory, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care across a wide variety of complex cases. Facilities include a renovated 25,000 square foot hospital, dedicated ICU and specialty treatment areas, minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, modern surgical suites and procedure rooms, and a fully integrated electronic medical record system designed to support efficient workflows and advanced patient care. Services offered include on-site radiation oncology, cardiology, advanced dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics. In addition, the hospital also offers pet behavioral medicine services.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment supported by a strong referral network and a highly skilled veterinary support team. The hospital is home to 49 DVMs across anesthesiology, behavior, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, emergency, internal medicine, minimally invasive surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery, creating an exceptional level of collaboration across specialties. This team-oriented culture provides the resources and clinical support needed to manage complex cases while delivering outstanding patient outcomes and high-quality veterinary care.
