Job description

Board-Certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist
Ownership or Associate Opportunity | Dallas, Texas
Love what you do AND where you do it!
Arista Advanced Pet Care, a specialty and emergency hospital, is seeking a small-animal internist. Whether this will be your first job after residency or a reset from a role that no longer fits you, this is a great place to practice in a hospital that prioritizes teamwork.
This role is a good fit for an internist who wants to practice alongside people who support one another on the floor, and care about doing right by patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.
The Team
You'll be joining a collaborative group of specialists (internal medicine, cardiology, critical care) and emergency clinicians who value skill, trust, and shared responsibility. The culture here is hands-on and practical; people show up for their cases and for each other.
The Opportunity
This role offers:
• A busy caseload
• Thoughtful case flow and real collaboration across specialties and ER
• Strong technician and support staff coverage
• Clear communication and tech-forward systems that reduce friction, not add to it
• A workplace where your voice is heard and acted on
How the Hospital Works
This is a clinician-owned hospital, and it feels that way day to day:
• Owner-doctors work on the floor
• Decisions stay local and practical
• Care Navigation teams support clients and referring veterinarians
Culture Matters
We want people to stay because they love working here, not because contracts trap them.
• No non-compete agreements
• No negative accrual
• We're a team that hires capable problem-solvers and trusts them to do their jobs
Benefits & Support
• 4 weeks of paid time off
• $5,000 annual CE stipend
• Board study support for newly finished residents
• 6 weeks of 100% paid parental leave
• Safe harbor 401(k) with 4% employer match and immediate vesting
• Free telehealth for employees
• Pet insurance
• Student loan relief program
Let's Connect
If you what you do and want to practice in a hospital where people genuinely like and support one another, we'd love to talk.
