What You'll Do 

  • Support our wide network of Caring Hands Animal Hospital family veterinarians by taking directed referrals for the diagnosis and management of complex outpatient internal medicine cases
  • Provide outpatient, high level Internal Medicine services including consultations, ultrasound, endoscopy using our dedicated equipment (Esaote ultrasound and a complete array of Storz endoscopy equipment) 
  • Partner closely with family vet practitioners to provide consultative support and seamless continuity of care between specialty and family vet practitioners 
  • Contribute to a culture of learning, mentorship, and clinical excellence
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and patients in a community-centered practice 

What We're Looking For 

  • ACVIM board-certified (or board-eligible) in Small Animal Internal Medicine
  • Active Virginia DVM License required by start date
  • A collaborative spirit and genuine passion for integrative team-based care
  • Strong communication skills with both colleagues and pet owners
  • Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based medicine
