We are seeking an experienced Veeva Vault Clinical CTMS Consultant/Admin, CTMS Integration & Data Support Engineer responsible for providing Tier 2/3 technical support, administration, integration, data management, and reporting capabilities across Veeva Vault Clinical (CTMS/eTMF) and connected enterprise platforms. The role will support CTMS- integrations, external partner user conversion, CTMS APIs/integrations, Vault Loader operations, data governance, and cross-platform analytics.
Skills / Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Veeva Vault Clinical / CTMS technical support, administration, configuration, or integration
• 5+ years of experience working with Veeva Vault Clinical, including CTMS and/or eTMF
• Strong experience with CTMS integrations, APIs, and external partner system integrations
• Strong experience with Veeva Vault administration, security, DACs, permission sets, and user administration
• Experience with Vault Loader, bulk data operations, VQL and SQL for data querying, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Veeva Data Dictionary and data governance
• Strong experience troubleshooting Tier 2/3 production issues in Veeva Vault Clinical
• Experience with external partner user conversion and user/data migration activities
• Experience developing and supporting reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Experience integrating Veeva data with enterprise platforms such as Databricks, Tableau, Oracle BI, and data lakes
• Experience with AWS services, including AWS Glue, IAM, and RDS (preferred)
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data processing, integration, and automation
• Ability to analyze complex integration and data issues across multiple platforms
Job / Role Description
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Veeva Vault Clinical and CTMS; Support CTMS ↔ integrations and external partner integrations
• Manage external partner user conversion and onboarding-related technical activities; Design, troubleshoot, and maintain Veeva APIs and CTMS integrations
• Perform Vault administration, including users, roles, security, DACs, permission sets, and access management
• Execute and support Vault Loader activities for bulk data operations and migrations; Maintain and support the Veeva Data Dictionary and associated data governance processes
• Troubleshoot data synchronization, integration failures, and data-quality issues; Develop and maintain SQL/VQL queries, reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Support integration of Veeva data with Databricks, Tableau, Oracle BI, RDS, and enterprise data lakes; Leverage AWS Glue, Python, SQL, and other technologies for data integration and automation
• Collaborate with clinical, business, data management, and technology stakeholders; Document technical solutions, root-cause analysis, support procedures, and integration processes
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve platform stability, data quality, automation, and operational efficiency; Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders
• Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure DevOps; Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities
Secondary Skills / Good to have
• Understanding of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical clinical development processes; Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments and applicable compliance expectations
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies; Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar project collaboration tools
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills for leadership reporting and project analysis; Experience working in large, matrixed, global organizations
• Change management and stakeholder engagement experience; Experience managing vendor or third-party dependencies is a plus
