Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
• Deep and strong experience with Veeva Vault configuration and implementation. Veeva Data Migration Specialist, Data Migration Lead
• Must have clear understanding of Veeva Vault Architecture
• Understanding of SaaS/Cloud solutions and technology, releases
• Must have Java or Python experience
• Proficient in grooming requirements in JIRA, can lead architecture, design and strategies
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex issues and discrepancies.
 
Veeva Vault Data Migration Experience:
• Expert knowledge of Veeva data model, including documents, records, and metadata.
• Proficient in grooming Data Migration requirements in JIRA, leading data migration strategies, tools, and best practices for transitioning data to Veeva.
• Ability to analyze and map existing data sources to Veeva Vault structure.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools for effective data migration.
• Working experience on Vault Loader and related APIs
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data migration issues and discrepancies.
• Understanding of data quality assessment and cleansing methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards related to data handling in the life sciences.
• Familiarity with data verification
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
• Knowledge of Life Sciences/CPG domain projects and SDLC documentation for GxP projects
 
Preferred Skills:
• First-hand experience of working with Veeva Vault Quality
• Experience with Quality Management processes (NC, CAPA, Change, Audit, Complaints etc.) in Life Sciences/CPG industry
 
Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage the data migration product backlog which includes tasks, features, and user stories.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the customer Data Lead to create user stories for data migration, including defining Acceptance Criteria in JIRA.
• Facilitate the review and approval of user stories in JIRA. 
• Finalize source to target mapping.
• Lead code development and scripting as necessary to facilitate data migration.
• Create and manage Progress tracker for all data migration related activities and stages. 
• Develop and document a standard data migration a pproach working with the architecture and project/ program management team. 
• Coordinate and facilitate development and validation efforts for data transformation, and loading, ensuring successful data migration.
• Creation of documentation as per customer SDLC process and following up on reviews and approvals for the same.
