In addition to our large primary care and rural health medicine practices, Adventist Health Sonora offers many specialty services including Interventional Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Pulmonology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Orthopedic Spine Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Urology. An exciting recent addition is the Rural Track Family Medicine Residency program, allowing us to educate future clinicians dedicated to providing care to underserved and rural communities.

Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the heart of California's Gold Country, Sonora and surrounding Tuolumne County offer a captivating blend of historic charm, scenic beauty, and a relaxed lifestyle at an affordable cost of living that beckons those seeking a peaceful yet vibrant place to call home. The town's well-preserved 19th-century architecture, quaint shops, and friendly community create an inviting, small-town atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time, yet offers close proximity to the urban amenities of Sacramento and San Francisco. The area boasts a thriving arts scene, numerous local wineries, farm-to-table dining, and a tight-knit community. Tuolumne County is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, with easy access to the stunning natural wonders of Yosemite National Park and the Emigrant Wilderness with their countless lakes, rivers, and trails. Whether you're drawn to skiing in the winter, exploring scenic trails in the summer, or enjoying the county's many festivals and local events, there's always something to do. The region's mild climate and clean air make outdoor activities a year-round pleasure.
