The duties of the position include: cashiering, data entry, the ability to provide verbal, written, and technical assistance pertaining to the licensing of drivers, issuance of identification cards, vehicle registration, and occupational licenses, in a courteous and efficient manner. Working Conditions
This position is Intermittent. Scheduled work hours will vary and subject to a maximum of 1500 hours per fiscal year. The 1500-hour maximum may be exceeded subject to approval due to changes in workload.
Under the direction of the Manager I, the incumbent performs tasks in an environment which routinely requires a calm, courteous, and tactful approach in providing customer service. The incumbent interacts respectfully and effectively with supervisors, peers, other departmental employees, and supporting agencies, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the office. The amount of time performing certain tasks may vary based on the needs of the office. Position requires rotation through neighboring field offices. Saturday and/or extended office hours may be required.
