Job Summary
Under the direction of the assigned administrator, the Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) is responsible for leadership, planning, development, implementation, and support for the assigned program/curricular area/site. Mentoring new teachers; leading and supporting professional development and regional program instructional initiatives; analyzing data and training staff to work with data; supporting special projects; collaborating with staff and modeling evidence-based teaching practices, training and supporting instructional assistants.

A Valid California Driver's License and original, sealed transcripts will be required of the successful candidate.
To qualify for the full incentive, the Teacher or Education Specialist, Mild/Mod & Mod/Severe must possess a current Preliminary or Clear Credential in Special Education, Moderate/Severe, Mild/Moderate, or eligible for a preliminary Credential
To qualify for the partial incentive, the Teacher or Education Specialist, Mild Mild/Mod & Mod/Severe must be enrolled as an Education Specialist with a California District/University Intern permit
All employment with the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements which includes but is not limited to fingerprinting and verification of negative tuberculosis.
