Job description

General Manager
Category – Food and Beverage
Reports To: Area Supervisor

About the Job
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of management experience in food service to lead our team and keep our restaurant running smoothly.
As a General Manager, your goal is to make sure customers are happy, sales are strong, and the restaurant is clean and organized. You’ll also make sure everything is done the Little Caesars way—by the book and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Service amp; Food Quality
  • Make sure customers get the correct food quickly.
  • Make sure food is fresh, high quality, and made the right way every time.
  • Apply the Hot-N-Ready Promise to all decisions and stations.
Clean amp; Safe Restaurant
  • Make sure the team looks presentable and follows health and safety rules.
  • Keeps store clean and organized in order to abide by health code regulation and ensure smooth operations.
Team Leadership
  • Hire, train, and manage team members.
  • Motivate and coach the team to work well together and do their best.
  • Handle any problems with professionalism and fairness.
Paperwork amp; Scheduling
  • Complete daily and weekly paperwork correctly.
  • Create staff schedules, order food, and plan for busy times.
  • Make sure the equipment works and the restaurant opens/closes on time.
Money amp; Sales
  • Manage money carefully and control costs.
  • Run local promotions to help increase sales.
  • Keeps Little Caesars sales info confidential (Ex: sales, pizzas sold, recipes, etc.)

Work Environment
  • You’ll supervise all team members, including those under 18.
  • You must follow all labor laws, safety rules (OSHA), and company policies.
  • You’ll work 40–50 hours a week, including nights and weekends.
  • This is a hands-on job—you’ll be doing physical tasks like lifting, standing, and bending.

You Must Be Able To:
  • Lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Bend, twist, squat, and stand for long periods.
  • Use kitchen tools and equipment safely (e.g. knives, ovens, registers).
  • Work in hot and cold environments.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
  • Count money and do basic math (sales, schedules, inventory).
  • Drive legally if needed.

Other Important Info
  • You’ll need to learn and follow all Little Caesars training and procedures.
  • You must be able to supervise shifts and take over if a team member is absent.
  • You might need to stand outside and hold signs to attract customers (this is called “shakerboarding”).
  • Have the ability to control and utilize equipment safely and correctly (sheeter machine, VCM, sauce ladle, cheese cups, cheese cups, pan gripers, spatula, pizza and dough cutter, different types of knives, can openers, pastry brush, scales, microwave, telephone, cash register, etc.).
