Job description

Job Summary:
Storen Financial is an established independent investment and accounting firm in the Indianapolis area, headquartered in Zionsville, serving clients in 43 states. They are seeking a full-time Technology Operations Manager to support and execute the firmโ€™s technology initiatives and operational systems, combining project management, process development, and technical execution.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Establish and maintain a new tech project management, ticketing, and project reporting system.
โ€ข Clean up and organize internal documentation, policies, and resources in order for clear communication across the entire tech department.
โ€ข Own the day-to-day timeline of internal projects, including managing task intake, coordinating with vendors, delegating responsibilities, and reporting on milestones.
โ€ข Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical initiatives, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with departmental goals.
โ€ข Maintain detailed records of software licenses, vendor contracts, hardware costs, and project spend to provide the director with data for financial planning.
โ€ข Serve as the first point of contact for other departments to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable project tasks.
โ€ข Act as the โ€œtranslatorโ€ between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clear and progress is transparent.
โ€ข Monitor and troubleshoot systems, isolate issues that need addressed, and communicate with team members on improvements or best use practices.
โ€ข Hands-on configuration of the tech stack (e.g., Salesforce, Conga, or Revver) to automate manual processes and solve specific operational friction points and eliminate manual process bottlenecks.
โ€ข Coordination with internal and external teams to solve complicated processes.
โ€ข Create and update the โ€œhow-toโ€ guides for systems, ensuring the team has a clear source of truth for all implemented workflows.
โ€ข Collaborate regularly with the technology team and firm leadership to support department initiatives and long-term planning.
โ€ข Assist with miscellaneous technology-related projects and operational initiatives as needed.
โ€ข Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and planning efforts.
โ€ข Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented work environment.
โ€ข Meet with Communications & Operations Director regularly to review reports, projects, budgets and department direction.

โ€ข Prior experience implementing or supporting operational technology systems strongly preferred.
โ€ข Experience coordinating projects involving internal teams, vendors, and consultants preferred.
Preferred:
โ€ข ITIL or PMP certification ideal but not required.
