What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Swiss Setup Machinist / Operator, you'll be responsible for supporting production while helping operators achieve quality and productivity goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Set up and operate CNC Swiss turning centers
  • Support and mentor Swiss machine operators
  • Troubleshoot machining and production issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
  • Select tooling and establish machine offsets
  • Verify first-piece and in-process inspections
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring equipment
  • Monitor cycle times, quality, and production performance
  • Make program and machine adjustments as needed
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot machining processes
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Leadership or lead operator experience
  • Experience mentoring machinists or operators
  • Experience with Citizen or Tsugami Swiss machines
  • ESPRIT programming experience
  • Manufacturing process improvement experience
