Job description

Description: Permanent Full Time Substitute Teacher
Job Summary: Full time position providing substitute services for teachers / paraprofessionals in low incidence handicapped classrooms. Will be required to work with a variety of disabled students with a wide range of impairments including autism, emotional disorders, moderate to severe and profound mental impairments, physical and medical impairments. May serve in multiple classrooms across the cooperative.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a Valid Registered Illinois teaching certificate/LBS1.  A Valid Registered PEL / SUB Teaching License or other teacher certification will also be considered; experience with low incidence special education students is preferred.
Working Conditions: Will work in a variety of special education classrooms across the AERO Special Education Cooperative and within the AERO Theraputic Center.
