Job description

Description:  Hazel Crest School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Social Worker position.
Job Summary:  Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, provides consultation for district students, staff, and parents regarding problems that interfere with the student's adjustment within the educational environment. 
Qualifications:



  • Current Illinois PEL with Social Worker endorsement
  • Experience as a School Social Worker (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, parents and student resource team and a willingness to spend the time to assure that such communication takes place

Working Conditions:  The work year for this position is 180 days. Salary is in accordance with the teacher salary schedule. The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life insurance, health and dental benefits, and an employee assistance program.
