Job description

Full-time / Non-exempt / Pay based on experience

Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, the Onboarding Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Team Services department through coordination of onboarding, workforce administration, and HRIS processes.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and execute the full post-offer onboarding process, ensuring completion of all pre-employment and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and verify background checks, references, licensure, and other onboarding tasks to ensure readiness for start dates.
  • Serve as a key HRIS resource for data entry, support, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and other departments for a smooth transition from offer acceptance through onboarding.
  • Organize onboarding logistics, including communication, orientation, documentation, and system access.
  • Maintain accurate workforce records and support Team Services projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Communicate professionally with applicants, staff, leaders, and external partners, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • SHRM certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, onboarding, HR operations, or administrative coordination preferred.
  • Experience working within an HRIS platform preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or regulated environments preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Strong customer service and follow-through required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment required.
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, Adobe, Docusign and office equipment required.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and workflows required.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor required.
