Job Summary:

This is a 100% customer-facing, revenue generating role requiring independent management of a broad geography with multiple channels that reach the end user (builder, contractor) to drive sales for MiraTEC, a 25-year-old brand of exterior trim highly differentiated from competition with unique technology, manufacturing process and performance and Extira, a 20-year old exterior panel made from the same technology

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed revenue and profit goals for defined assigned territory while maintaining and growing market share. Defined territory for this role includes the core geography with additional responsibility managed in a quarterly customer tiered system
  • Travel 80% of time each week in territory focused on driving builder trial and preference through support of the value chain: distribution, retail lumberyards, building material dealers, shed builders, architects/specifiers and large regional siding contractors to ensure MiraTEC growth.
  • Demonstrate a true hunter mentality creating market share and demand by selling value and establishing and cultivating relationships within builder/siding contactor community. Identify top key targets in the top metro markets with the support of data tools, establish a plan to attack market by market.
  • Establish a target dealer list of retail lumber yards/one steppers in assigned territory in the major metro market and in secondary markets. Work with distribution management and sales teams to close targets.
  • Become technically proficient with the installation of MiraTEC trim and able to conduct one on one training with Builder/Siding contractor community to educate, offer best practices, problem solve and be able to manage claims and inspect for installation variances.
  • Conduct CE presentations for architects/specifiers in assigned markets. Make regular architectural calls to drive awareness and specification of MiraTEC in secondary markets.

Main duties and Responsibilities-Extira:

  • Travel 80% of time a week in assigned territory listed above handling all channel of sales distribution, OEM, and industrial manufacturers to ensure Extira growth.
  • Identify large volume OEM accounts with in assigned territory form a market plan to convert OEM business to Extira through distribution or direct if necessary.

Main duties and Responsibilities-Administrative:

  • Execute all monthly reporting to include, competitive reporting, price reporting, and RSM dashboard PPT by critical due dates. Maintain Miratec Money, SPA’s, rebate agreements ensuring all current programs are up to date. Adjust rebate agreements to align with our business and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the siding/trim category or a related adjacent product family with a complex value chain and the requirement to influence demand beyond the initial customer
  • Proven success as a sales hunter mentality in prior sales role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Not only able to work independently, but enjoy the autonomy that comes with running the territory as “your own business”
  • Detail oriented, good quantitative skills, strong communicator, excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, positive attitude, excellent time management skills
  • College degree required
