Voldex is a leading gaming company focused on Roblox, the most exciting ecosystem in gaming today. We are home to several of Roblox's top games, including Brookhaven, Driving Empire, and NFL Universe Football. With over 160 million monthly active players across our games, we are one of the biggest Roblox studios by audience size. Founded in 2015, we have since grown to 95+ full-time remote team members across the globe.
Role Overview
The Partnerships Sales Lead is Voldex's first dedicated sales hire and will be a key driver of new brand partnerships business across our portfolio of games, including Brookhaven (the #1 roleplay game and most-visited game on Roblox ever), Driving Empire (the #1 driving game), and NFL Universe Football (the #1 football game).
Working closely with our Brand Partnerships team of strategists and account managers, you'll be responsible for building, managing, and closing a high-quality pipeline of brand opportunities across entertainment, toy companies, QSR, consumer goods, and other major marketing verticals.
This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who thrives on building relationships from scratch, loves the hunt, and wants to play a foundational role in shaping how Voldex shows up in the broader brand and agency ecosystem. You'll build deep relationships directly with senior marketing stakeholders at the world's largest consumer brands, as well as with the agency teams that plan and manage their spend (e.g. WPP, Publicis, Dentsu, etc.), ensuring Voldex is considered for all relevant marketing opportunities and RFPs.
What You'll Do
  • Pipeline Generation
    • Generate a consistent flow of qualified leads through conferences, word of mouth, existing relationships, outbound outreach, and warm introductions
    • Filter and prioritize leads to focus time and energy on the highest-quality opportunities
    • Build credible relationships with key decision-makers on the gaming teams at major holding companies (e.g. Omnicom, Publicis, WPP, Dentsu) that manage gaming marketing spend
    • Build direct relationships with brands, with a focus on top entertainment, toy company, CPG, and QSR organizations
  • Deal Closing
    • Turn qualified leads into closed, revenue-generating partnerships
    • Own follow-up and pipeline hygiene to ensure leads don't go cold
    • Close revenue both directly with brands and through marketing agencies
    • Ensure Voldex is included in relevant RFP conversations from gaming-focused agencies and brands
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with the Brand Partnerships team to develop proposals, pitch decks, and go-to-market packages for qualified leads
    • Provide clear, regular updates on pipeline status and deal progress to the Brand Partnerships team and your manager via CRM or other shared process
    • Set realistic expectations with clients during the sales process to support a smooth handoff to the account management team post-sale
  • Market & Industry Insight
    • Bring an informed point of view on how brands currently spend on gaming activations, and use that knowledge to shape how Voldex goes to market
    • Share market feedback and trends to help refine Voldex's partnership offerings and positioning

Who You Are
  • Required:
    • 6+ years of digital/gaming media sales experience
    • 2+ years of experience successfully selling gaming advertising integrations into UGC gaming platforms (Roblox preferred)
    • Established relationships with media/marketing agencies that manage gaming marketing budgets, with a track record of getting brands or platforms into RFP conversations
    • Strong track record of generating pipeline and closing six- and seven-figure advertising/integration deals
    • Excellent relationship-building skills with senior marketers and agency planners
    • Clear, proactive communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams without overpromising on scope
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience successfully selling gaming advertising integrations on Roblox specifically
    • Existing relationships at major holding companies (WPP, Publicis, Dentsu, Omnicom)
    • Familiarity with Voldex's games or the broader Roblox ecosystem

Location and Travel
  • Based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA, or US-based with the ability to be in these cities at least 2x per month
  • Significant travel expected to meet clients and agencies, approximately 2x per month
