Schedule:M-F 8am-4:30pm 4 weekends per year

SUMMARY As a Registered Nurse in Home Care, your exceptional ability to teach, counsel and empathize with each patient leads to an enhanced quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Patient Care. Conduct initial assessments; establish plan of care and provide prescribed treatments and demonstrated nursing abilities; coordinate the delivery of 24-hour care;
  • Communication. Counsel and guide individuals and families towards self-help in recognition and solution of physical, emotional and environmental problems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Nursing Diploma required, ASN preferred.
  • License and current registration to practice as Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
  • Current NYS Driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
  • Availability of Motor Vehicle
  • 6 months- 1 year experience conducting UAS-NY Community Assessment preferred.
