Registered Nurse Unit Manager overseeing daily nursing operations, staff supervision, and resident care in a skilled nursing facility.

Mondayโ€“Friday 8:00amโ€“4:00pm | Full-Time

RN Unit Manager Overview

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of a nursing unit in a skilled nursing / long-term care facility. This role provides leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality resident care.

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing staff and daily unit operations

  • Ensure compliance with DOH, CMS, and facility policies

  • Oversee care plans, clinical documentation, and chart audits

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and clinical support to nursing staff

  • Address resident and family concerns professionally

  • Maintain appropriate staffing and unit supply levels

  • Collaborate with administration and interdisciplinary teams

RN Unit Managers Qualifications
  • Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license required
