  • Support management with annual budget forecasting
  • Assist with annual audit preparation and coordinate with external accountants
  • Manage contributions, membership, and sales accounts, reconciling with departments monthly
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Nonprofit or hospitality accounting experience
  • Familiarity with grant financial management and reporting
  • Knowledge of New York nonprofit financial requirements
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000–$115,000, commensurate with experience.

  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Generous paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Professional development opportunities

This is a full-time position. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; life, AD&D, long-term disability, and short-term disability insurance; a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account; a 401(k) retirement account with a matching contribution; and tuition reimbursement. We are an equal-opportunity employer.
