• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and mental health, identify their strengths, and pinpoint necessary resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy employing effective evidence-based treatment modalities suitable for each situation.
• Employ therapeutic frameworks such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-oriented approaches to meet clients' specific needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that include measurable goals and interventions, adjusting them as necessary to reflect clients' progress.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to care.
• Offer crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and creating robust safety plans when urgent support is required.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards, supporting accountability and continuity of care.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups designed to foster community and shared healing among participants.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals battling depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clients vary in age and background, reflecting the rich diversity of the Houston area. Your ability to forge meaningful connections will be instrumental in guiding them through their unique journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health or outpatient setting.
• Thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills to foster client relationships and facilitate effective treatment.

While not mandatory, familiarity with treatment programs in detox or rehabilitation settings will set candidates apart. Experience working with specific populations, such as veterans or those with substance use disorders, will also be advantageous.

Unity Harbor Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.
