Your Responsibilities as a Patient Access Representative

  • Schedule patient appointments across clinics based on provider availability, patient needs, and location.
  • Manage referrals end-to-end, ensuring accurate patient, insurance, and documentation details.
  • Communicate proactively with patients and teams about scheduling updates, cancellations, and missing information.
  • Deliver a high-quality, patient-first experience while assisting with questions and providing support.
  • Accurately document scheduling activity and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with clinic and regional teams while contributing ideas to improve processes and patient access.
Qualifications & Pay Range

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving and adaptability skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using EMR and scheduling platforms.
  • Professional, empathetic, and patient-centered approach.

Qualifications 

  • At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service preferred.
  • Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred.

Schedule

  • Full Time: Mon-Fri (schedule varies)
  • 100% remote position supporting our Advent partnership in North Georgia

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $18-$20/hr
  • (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
