Overview

The National Food & Beverage Activation Director is responsible for supporting the implementation and adoption of approved food and beverage supplier programs across OVG venues and accounts. This role serves as a key point of coordination between corporate food and beverage leadership, venue operators, culinary teams, procurement partners, clients, and designated supplier partners to help maximize the value of established purchasing programs. The Director will focus on increasing awareness and utilization of preferred supplier initiatives, supporting venue operators in program execution, monitoring participation levels, and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies through approved supplier relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and experienced in foodservice operations, supplier programs, and multi-unit hospitality environments.

This role pays an annual salary of $130,000-$150,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and ongoing coordination of approved food and beverage supplier programs across assigned venues and accounts.
  • Promote awareness and utilization of preferred vendor programs and negotiated purchasing agreements through ongoing communication and education.
  • Build positive working relationships with venue leadership, culinary teams, procurement partners, and client representatives to support supplier program adoption.
  • Serve as a resource for venue operators regarding approved products, supplier offerings, and program requirements.
  • Coordinate with supplier partners to support product rollouts, menu integration opportunities, training initiatives, and promotional programs.
  • Monitor purchasing activity and participation levels within supplier programs and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports related to purchasing activity, supplier program participation, and operational results.
  • Assist in developing presentations, communications, and educational materials that support supplier partnership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with culinary, operations, marketing, finance, and procurement teams to ensure supplier programs align with business objectives and venue needs.
  • Support vendor onboarding activities and assist with the rollout of new supplier initiatives across locations.
  • Gather feedback from venue leadership and operators regarding supplier program performance and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Document successful program implementations and share best practices across the organization.
  • Assist with resolving supplier-related issues and coordinating communication between venues and vendor partners.
  • Travel to venue locations as needed to support program implementation, training, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Foodservice Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in foodservice, hospitality, procurement, supplier relations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, purchasing processes, supplier programs, and cost management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify trends, and provide practical recommendations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with purchasing, procurement, reporting, or business intelligence systems preferred.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require.
