Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services tailored to the outpatient needs of clients, including those struggling with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ relational dynamics and mental health needs, crafting personalized treatment plans designed to achieve specific and measurable goals.
  • Apply your knowledge of family systems theory to address issues of communication, family stressors, and relationship dynamics, ensuring clients receive targeted interventions.
  • Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support to clients and their families while ensuring their safety and mental stability.
  • Manage and maintain precise and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards in documentation.
  • Deliver educational sessions to clients on effective communication techniques, relationship-building skills, and coping strategies that promote emotional resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including therapists and medical staff, to provide holistic care in a coordinated manner.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with advancements in marriage and family therapy through training, workshops, and literature.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with diverse individuals and families who seek support for various emotional and relational challenges. Qualifications
  • A valid, current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a similar discipline.
  • At least one year of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective connection with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to adhering to ethical practices while maintaining client confidentiality.
  • A proactive attitude that allows for independent work as well as teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying client needs.
Preferred Experience
