• Conduct thorough client assessments, employing various diagnostic tools and therapeutic techniques to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with the unique goals of each client, incorporating therapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to address specific mental health issues and promote recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, utilizing a calm and effective approach.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to deliver comprehensive care to all clients.
• Educate clients and families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, alongside advocating for their rights and needs.
• Continue professional development through workshops, training sessions, and literature review to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Graceful Journey Counseling Services, you will work primarily with diverse groups of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Your focus will be on those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions. • Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in accordance with state regulations.
• Education requirements include a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience required.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

• Previous experience in a clinical or counseling setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
