Key Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to stable, low-acuity clients seeking assistance with emotional and mental health issues.
• Facilitate open discussions to encourage clients to express their feelings and share their experiences.
• Utilize effective assessment techniques, including conversations, observations, and diagnostic tests, to identify client issues.
• Assist clients in defining personal therapeutic goals, planning actionable steps, and gaining self-awareness.
• Adopt a solution-based approach to therapy, helping clients navigate obstacles and develop coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with clients who are stable and have low-acuity mental health concerns. All clients are carefully screened prior to booking therapy sessions, ensuring that you engage with individuals ready to receive therapeutic support. This focus allows you to apply your skills effectively, helping clients achieve meaningful progress in their mental health journey.

Qualifications

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current, unrestricted licensure to practice independently as a mental health therapist in your state, including certifications such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A strong understanding of various therapeutic methodologies and a commitment to solution-focused care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills paired with a sympathetic nature that fosters a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Proficient computer skills to effectively utilize telehealth platforms and manage electronic documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, as it helps in navigating the unique challenges and advantages of remote therapy. Familiarity with online therapy platforms and experience working with various client demographics will enhance your ability to meet client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Counselors in this role are offered a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of their experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors. The position's flexibility also allows you to set your own hours, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
