• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs, utilizing a range of diagnostic tools and methods.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals, leveraging best practices in psychotherapy.
• Utilize current, evidence-based counseling techniques to provide effective therapy, adapting approaches as necessary based on client feedback.
• Engage in continuous education to stay updated on the latest mental health trends, therapeutic interventions, and policies impacting mental health care.
• Provide insights and suggestions to enhance service delivery and treatment strategies within the organization.
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for client interactions, ensuring clients feel safe and understood throughout their therapy process.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Advanced Therapy, Ltd., you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Your role will require you to adopt a culturally sensitive approach, recognizing the unique backgrounds of each client. You will be instrumental in empowering clients to develop coping strategies and pathways to recovery, contributing significantly to their overall mental well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid California mental health license, such as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, is essential.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in providing mental health services in a clinical setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic record-keeping systems to document client interactions and treatment progress.

Experience with various therapeutic modalities and familiarity with the latest mental health policies affecting community health clinics is advantageous. Additional training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will enhance your candidacy.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
