Full-Time Telehealth LICSW Remote Clinical Social Worker Opportunity in Massachusetts
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a full-time remote therapy position serving clients in Massachusetts. This role centers on direct clinical care: meeting with clients online, understanding their concerns, building care plans, and helping them work through mental health challenges with steady, professional support.
You will provide therapy in a private telehealth setting while completing the clinical documentation and care coordination needed to keep treatment organized and effective.
Location: Massachusetts
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Deliver remote mental health therapy to clients located in Massachusetts
  • Complete thorough psychosocial and clinical assessments
  • Develop practical treatment goals based on client needs and clinical findings
  • Support clients in building coping tools, emotional regulation skills, and healthier decision-making patterns
  • Provide ongoing care for concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, stress, and family or relationship difficulties
  • Review client progress and modify interventions as treatment continues
  • Keep session notes, treatment plans, and required records current and accurate
  • Use secure technology for virtual sessions and client-related documentation
  • Follow all applicable state, federal, and professional requirements for remote clinical care

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW license
  • Previous experience providing therapy, counseling, or clinical social work services
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional clinical standards
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions
