Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to understand their mental health concerns and strengths.

  • Facilitate individual, couple, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Provide ongoing support and crisis intervention as required, adapting interventions as clients progress throughout their treatment journey.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families of varying backgrounds. You will serve individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • A valid and current license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services within an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients and collaborating with other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing a caseload.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working remotely in a telehealth capacity is a plus.
