We are currently hiring a Reefer Technician!

This is a great opportunity for a driven Diesel Refrigeration Technician with a "can do" attitude. This person will be responsible to evaluate, prioritize and delegate work amongst the mechanics and washer/fuelers.

Hours: 1st and 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri

Reefer Technician Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
  • Review work orders and discuss work with service manager
  • Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined
  • Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
  • Communicate with driver to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems.
  • Complies with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.

Reefr Technician Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years recent medium/heavy diesel maintenance experience
  • 1 year of 608 Refrigeration Technician experience
  • Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.
  • Must have own hand tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • CDL license required
  • Good driving record and proven work history
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
