Job description

Founded in Richmond, Virginia in 1997, CapCenter exists to help individuals and families achieve one of life's most meaningful milestones—homeownership. By bringing mortgage, realty, and insurance services together under one roof, we provide a simpler, more transparent experience designed to save clients time and money. Our commitment to innovation, including our Zero Closing Cost mortgage, has earned the trust of thousands of clients and fueled our growth through repeat business and referrals.

At CapCenter, our mission extends beyond serving clients. We foster a collaborative, high-impact environment where employees are empowered to do meaningful work, grow professionally, and make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Job Overview:

CapCenter is looking for a full-time Recruiter who enjoys connecting great people with great opportunities and wants to play an important role in helping our organization grow.

You'll join a collaborative team where you'll have the opportunity to work across several areas of our business, build relationships with leaders and candidates, and bring new ideas to how we attract and engage talent.

We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, personable, and comfortable taking ownership of the recruiting process. If you enjoy building relationships, keeping things moving, and seeing the direct impact of your work, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruiting for a variety of professional and operational positions across the organization.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR to identify talent, build candidate pipelines, and create a positive experience from first contact through hire.
  • Manage job postings and candidate pipelines through our applicant tracking system.
  • Source and engage candidates using LinkedIn, Handshake, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other creative recruiting channels.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and identify qualified candidates for hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Keep recruiting activity and candidate information accurate and up to date.
  • Build relationships with colleges and universities and help expand our campus recruiting efforts.
  • Participate in career fairs and other recruiting and networking events.
  • Track recruiting activity and help identify opportunities to improve our hiring process.
  • Participate in new hire orientation and help maintain orientation and recruiting materials.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition and HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, or related HR experience.
  • Experience sourcing and engaging candidates, not just reviewing applications.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and searches at the same time.
  • Comfortable working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Recruiting/Workforce Now, LinkedIn, Handshake, or similar recruiting platforms is a plus.

Compensation:

The estimated annual earnings for this position are $65,000-$82,500. Base compensation will be determined based on job-related business considerations, such as relevant qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and skills. This position is eligible to receive performance-based incentive compensation and/or discretionary bonus opportunities.

Benefits:

CapCenter offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation, paid holidays, and other programs designed to support the well-being and professional growth of our employees.

Equal Opportunity Employer:

CapCenter is an Equal Opportunity Employer (Veteran/Disability). All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of race, color, national origin, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
