Grocery Clerk:

99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in the United States, with over 60 store locations in California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and more! We are passionate and honored to shape the Asian Supermarket culture within the grocery industry. As 99 Ranch Market expands, we have new positions open. Summary:

A Grocery Clerk  will play a crucial role in supporting our business-to-consumer operations. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and prepare grocery orders for shipment to our valued customers. You will work closely with a team of dedicated individuals to ensure the smooth and timely fulfillment of online grocery orders, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently pick grocery items from designated storage areas based on order requirements.
  • Pack grocery items securely and appropriately, ensuring proper handling and protection during shipment.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of each order.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet daily order fulfillment targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Assist in restocking shelves and rotating inventory as needed to maintain freshness and product availability.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any order-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Previous experience working in a grocery store, warehouse, or fulfillment center is preferred.
  • Familiarity with grocery items, including perishable goods and food safety practices, is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and navigate warehouse management systems and handheld devices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be flexible in dealing with various obstacles and changes.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:
  • This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including but not limited to knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

Working Conditions:
  • This job is performed in a production environment that may have exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors.
