Job description

Ranch Handyman / Crew Supervisor (Full-Time, Long-Term)

Location: Malibu, CA
 Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Compensation: Competitive salary, housing options available, benefits package

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, full-time Ranch Handyman / Crew Supervisor to oversee and work alongside our property and ranch crew. This is a long-term position for someone dependable, responsible, and ready to become an integral part of our operations.

The crew maintains multiple ranch and residential properties—handling landscaping, pool maintenance, and general upkeep. As the supervisor, you will both lead the team and perform skilled handyman tasks yourself.

Responsibilities

●     Supervise and coordinate daily tasks for the ranch/property crew

●     Perform general handyman repairs, including:

○     Basic plumbing (toilet/sink replacement, unclogging pipes, small fixes)

○     Basic framing, carpentry, and light welding

○     Pool and yard equipment maintenance

●     Assist with landscaping, tree planting, lawn care, and property upkeep as needed

●     Troubleshoot and learn new repair/maintenance tasks as situations arise

●     Be available 7 days a week for emergencies (not constant work, but on-call when needed)

●     Take ownership of projects and ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

●     Proven experience as a handyman, ranch hand, or property/crew supervisor

●     Skills in plumbing, carpentry, welding, and general maintenance

●     Ability to operate and maintain pool, landscaping, and ranch equipment

●     Strong leadership skills — able to direct and motivate a small crew

●     Dependable, responsible, and willing to be on-call for urgent needs

●     Fast learner with a “can-do” mindset

Benefits

●     Stable, long-term position with opportunity to become part of the ranch family

●     Housing may be provided for the right candidate

●     Competitive pay (commensurate with experience)

●     Supportive environment with a dedicated crew
