Description
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operations support to management in various areas including reporting, inventory, scheduling and quality control.
Hours: 7am - 4pm
Compensation: $24 - $27/hr + incentive eligible

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Essential Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintains various reports to keep management aware of potential trends, shortages, back orders and order status.
  • Communicates purchasing requirements for the production schedule to the procurement.
  • Coordinates all schedules, lead times and expedites with planners and sales as needed.
  • Supports inventory reconciliation and control.
  • Responds to service requests from sales department.
  • Verifies correct location of inventory in rack system and floor.
  • Assists in training new employees as requested.
  • Performs other related work as assigned.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
  • General office environment, PC use

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience: Type, Skills, and Years:
  • One year of administrative experience
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced math skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and organization skills
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to work effectively with other functional areas in order to improve service levels, resolve service problems, and reduce costs/improve efficiencies

Required Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
  • College level coursework with an emphasis on business
  • Three years of experience in production scheduling, inventory or other related areas in an automated distribution environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain productive business relationships
