Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Floor Supervisor, a Dealer responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for the delivery of Customer Service standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs the functions of a Table Games Dealer on an assigned shift
  • Responsible for dealing an assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedures
  • Creates an atmosphere for guests to make Hard Rock their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
  • Provides game security and protects Company assets by always facing games and being able to recreate bets/situations when necessary.
  • Responsible for handling all monies (bankrolls, payoffs, come and prop bets, making change and check handling) accurately in games.
  • Able to verbalize all aspects of the game including answering questions regarding other games and the property.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Attend seminars when needed.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

High School Diploma required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

  • Must be able to deal Blackjack with a high level of proficiency. Two years of Casino Dealer experience preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Hard Rock operations.
  • Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.

ABILITY TO:

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
