Job description

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
  • Evolve our innovative lift prop system into a mature, manufacturable, and certified product
  • With a majority of the initial part design work completed, this role will focus on ensuring CAD models reflect latest manufacturing and design changes as well as work them thru the formal release process to support certification testing and production

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering degree with strong Mechanical Design or Manufacturing focus from an accredited program
  • CAD experience of complex parts and assemblies (SolidWorks and CATIA)
  • PLM and release process experience for CAD lifecycle support
  • Application of GD&T for dimensional control of parts and assemblies
  • Self-starter that is well organized, disciplined, team player with solid communication skills
  • Microsoft suite ; slack, application lifecycle

Above and Beyond Qualifications:
  • Composites and metallics drawing experience
  • Composites ply modeling for surfaces and body generation
  • CATIA V6 and 3DX

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Onsite engineering at our BTV facility

The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. Compensation
$90,000-$120,000 USD
