The FinTech Program Manager will lead all interactions between the Bank and designated fintech partners.
The SLP Program Manager serves as Celtic Bank's primary point of contact for one or more assigned fintech partner programs, managing day-to-day oversight of program performance, credit, operations, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing activities. The role monitors partner programs against contractual, regulatory, and risk requirements; coordinates with Risk, Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Operations to resolve issues; and reports program performance and risk to senior management. This position supports the Bank's growth in partner loan volume while keeping assigned programs operating within approved risk and compliance parameters.
This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid role based in Salt Lake City with limited travel required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Bank and each assigned fintech partner, overseeing day-to-day program management across credit, operations, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing.
  • Monitor daily and weekly loan origination volume, approval rates, and portfolio performance for assigned program(s) against contractual thresholds and risk limits.
  • Lead recurring partner check-in calls and serve as the primary interface between the Bank, partner, and credit card networks, managing network-related projects to completion.
  • Coordinate with partner operations teams to resolve loan-level exceptions, funding delays, and data reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Interact daily with Compliance and other internal departments on ongoing partner oversight.
  • Manage the review and approval of partner marketing materials, policies, procedures and processes.
  • Track open action items from partner meetings, audits, and internal risk reviews through to resolution.
  • Perform periodic risk-based reviews of partner adherence to Program Agreements and applicable regulations; prepare and present performance and risk reports to senior management.
  • Analyze new product offerings proposed by partners and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage the resolution and reporting of customer complaints in coordination with Compliance and the fintech partner.
  • Coordinate onboarding, due diligence, and implementation of new partner programs, and support amendments, extensions, or renewals of existing Program Agreements.
  • Support third-party audits, regulatory exams, and internal audits of assigned partner programs.
  • Maintain program documentation, including partner agreements, policies, procedures, and change logs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer and/or commercial banking, fintech partnerships, or compliance/operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal teams and external partners, including senior management.
  • Excellent people-management and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, identify solutions, and balance competing priorities.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and travel as required for special projects and partner needs.
  • Solid working knowledge of standard computer systems, software, and evolving technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing bank-fintech (bank-as-a-service) lending partnership programs.
  • Familiarity with BSA/AML and fair lending compliance monitoring.
  • Experience with SQL or other data query tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working with credit card networks and implementing new credit card products.
  • Strong knowledge of the current banking regulatory environment.
  • Experience working with regulators, such as the FDIC and Utah Department of Financial Institutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
