Job description

Job Overview:

The Wage Compliance Specialist independently processes payroll and certified payroll reporting for multiple projects. This role resolves discrepancies, ensures prevailing wage compliance, and acts as a resource for project teams regarding payroll regulations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently prepare, review, and submit CPRs.
  • Validate wage classifications, fringe calculations, and deductions.
  • Review union agreements and apprenticeship documentation as applicable.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and perform payroll audits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state prevailing wage laws.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and project teams to resolve payroll issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years of progressive payroll, labor compliance and prevailing wage experience.
  • Strong understanding of Davis-Bacon and certified payroll requirements.
  • Experience with LCPtracker or similar compliance platforms.

PAY EQUITY STATEMENT:

$24.00 - $37.00/hr
