About the Role
PIRTEK, the nation's leading provider of on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is seeking a Hose Installation Technician to join our growing Amherst team. This is an active, hands-on field service role where you'll diagnose issues, fabricate hoses on the spot, and keep essential industries running.
If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working independently, and like meeting new people throughout your day, this is a strong career path with long-term growth.
What You'll Do
  • Service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses for customers in manufacturing, construction, rental equipment, and more
  • Operate a fully equipped PIRTEK mobile workshop (company vehicle provided)
  • Respond to local service calls and troubleshoot equipment on-site
  • Maintain tools, inventory, and equipment in the service truck
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Represent PIRTEK with professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude (automotive, equipment, tools, or similar experience)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Available weekends and evenings on rotating basis

Preferred but not required:
  • Experience with hydraulic systems
  • Field service or mobile technician background
  • Automotive, diesel, or mechanical repair experience
