Job description
Are you a strong, experienced mechanic who takes pride in your work? Do you enjoy working closely with customers to assess, diagnose, and resolve their equipment issues? If so, then PIRTEK Cartersville may be a great fit for you! PIRTEK, the nation's leading provider for on-site hydraulic hose replacement is currently hiring Field Service Mechanics. Our Field Service Mechanics remove, assemble, & install hydraulic hoses on construction equipment, manufacturing equipment, recycling equipment and basically anything fluid power. Our Field Service Mechanics operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose built mobile hose workshop/van.
Job Duties:
• Assess customer needs on hydraulic equipment
• Remove, repair, and/or replace hydraulic hoses
• Visit with active customers to assess needs
• Initiate contact with potential customers to explain our available services
• Work independently
Required qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience in trade involving mechanical repair
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record - no DUI's in the last 5 years
Compensation Package:
• Wage: $24 per hour - Starting wage based on experience
• Overtime - variable, based on number of service requests
• Bonus - variable, based on jobs completed monthly
• PAID On-The-Job Training
• Company Vehicle - Field Service Mechanics drive their service van to/from work daily
• Insurance: Medical, Vision, Life
