Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant / Junior Paralegal supports our attorneys, case managers, and administrative staff with a variety of tasks related to client communication, document management, case support, and office administration. You will gain valuable exposure to personal injury law, client relations, case management, and legal procedures.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, highly organized, comfortable speaking with clients, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming calls, and greet clients and visitors.
Maintain client files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Scan, upload, and organize records within Clio and other systems.
Assist with medical record requests and related follow-up.
Prepare correspondence and legal documents.
Track outstanding items and follow up as needed.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
Assist with client intake and communications.
Process incoming and outgoing mail and office correspondence.
Provide general administrative support to attorneys and case managers, including special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and a professional, positive attitude.
Strong customer service skills and comfort communicating with clients.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
Experience in a law office, medical office, insurance, or other professional environment preferred.
Legal admin experience required 1+ year, Personal injury experience is a plus but not required.
